Welcome to our website of Hotel Magura ***. The surrounding area of our hotel is mainly bordered by the picturesque highlands of „Strážov“ and by 3 valleys –„Tužinska“, „Rudnianska“, „Chvojnická“. The facility is 26 km away from „Prievidza“ and 35 km away from „Martin“. Our region is in a temperate weather zone, to be more specific – altitude of our facility is 618m, the yearly average temperature is 8 °C and constant snow layer lasts for 80-120 days a year. Summer or winter holidays, summer school for children, activity holidays for sportsmen, company events or teambuildings – all these activities perfectly fit to our hotel and surroundings. Hotel Magura*** includes hotel rooms, chalets, with total capacity of 98 beds, dining with a tasteful cuisine and a creative chef, refreshments at the bar, teaching rooms, exterior sporting areas and a sports hall with a gym. Our offer includes organising social programme or wellness too. Hiking or mountain biking trails in the surrounding mountains offer a variety levels of difficulties. For fan of nordic skiing, there is a 5 km circuit available, with the start right from the doorstep of our hotel. Regular skiers can use the nearby slope of „Fačkovské sedlo“, transportation there and back is available.
